Elizabeth Hatton Hospital
Grand Haven, Michigan's first hospital, opened in 1919, was named after William Hatton's deceased wife. Hatton was president of Eagle Ottawa Leather Company. The hospital, near the southeast corner of Fifth and Franklin Streets, was located in the home originally occupied by the Captain William Loutit family. The building was razed in 1963.
