Ferry that took passengers back and forth across the St. Joseph River
Silver Beach attractions were on the south bank of the St. Joseph River as it enters Lake Michigan. Several large hotels were located across the river on the North bank. This ferry was used by Plank's Tavern to carry people back and forth across the river.
