The union, Local’ 365 of the

Hotel, Hospital, Restaurant anc
Bartenders Union, ‘was recog-.
nized as the bargaining agent’
for some 300 employes in a se-
cret ballot election Dec. 18,
1968. Since that’ time, however,
no contract has been agreed
ro, by the medical ceriter and
‘the union.
. The Rrsmonhir commission,
‘appointed | by Gov. William G.
Milliken. to study the situation,
said .the main issues disagreed
on involved wages, the length of
the proposed.contract and union
security. .

It recommended an agency

agreement that would run
til June 30, 1971, and no. wagé

recommended that the contract
