Munson ranks as a
top.donor hospital

TRAVERSE CITY — Munson
Medical Center has ranked as
“one of Michigan’s top donor
hospitals in 1997.

The Gift of Life and Gift of
Sight agencies placed Munson
second in the number of eye
donations, third in the number
of tissue donations and fourth
in the number of organ dona-
tions.

Munson will be honored by
the Michigan Eye-Bank during
Eye Donor Month in March, and
ER nurse Sandy Amos will be
recognized by the eye bank for
her multiple referrals during
the past year.
