Our Boston and New York exchanges are discussing the late railroad
deals in the upper peninsula with considerable interest. It is well.
The resources of this region are thus obtaining a great deal of val-
uable advertising, and in that way not a little is being done to
direct the attention of capitalists to the opportunities for invest-
ment which are here to be found on every side.
