DSS&A line being constructed crosses Montreal river
The DSS&A line, now being constructed, crosses the Montreal river about six miles above Hurley, Wisconsin and then goes due east to the north end of Lake Gogebic. Passing this it deflects south east to a point east of the center of the lake, thence east and north to Three Lakes. It passes some distance of Rock Island, the terminus of the Ontonagon & Brule River road and saves 350 miles between Boston and Duluth.
