Houghton, September 9 - Thomas (Tommy) Rickels has resigned
his position as freight engineer on the Houghton division of the
DSS&A. Mr. Rickels has been an employe of the road for more
than 20 years. He has filled many responsible positions in dif-
ferent branches of its service, and always enjoyed the confidence
of his superiors. He leaves now of his own account to remove
with his family to Los Angeles, Ca., . . . Mr. Rickets was for
several years master mechanic at L'Anse, when that point was the
terminus of the M&O. .. «
