He Succumbed

Ishpeming - Yesterday morning an individual who was suffi-
cently under the influence of the bowl that inebriates to
make him totally regardless of consequences attempted to
board a DSS&A passenger train at the depot, while passengers
were getting off. A brakeman remonstrated with him, but
without effect. Marshall Scully then endeavored to keep the
man quiet, but without avail, and he was finally taken off to
jail to sober off. Twice on the way he made a desperate re-
sistance, and when in jail he raised another row. He was
left in jail yesterday and last night to sober off, and will
be tried today.
