October 15, 1887 Saturday Taken South Negaunee - Tuesday the special palace car "Wanderer" was taken through here to Republic for the purpose of removing Mr. Morgan, whose serious illness has already been noted, to the south. Wednesday he was somewhat worse and it was not deemed advisable to move him. He spent Thursday night com- fortably, however, and yesterday morning he was taken to the car. It was brought down on the noon express and was trans- ferred to the south bound C&NW passenger train. Mr. Mor- gan's destination is Asheville, N. C., and it is to be hoped that he will reach it in safety, and that the climatic change will benefit him. Passenger
