For several weeks previous to the arrival of the DSS&A, the democrat endeavored to arouse enthusiasm enough among the inhabitants of the Sault to make the necessary preparations for an appropriate celebration of the first train. Every possible reminder of the years of anticpation and watching of the great event were given out.
