Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1887 Glad to Makethe Correction A week ago we published an item, the text for which we got out of an exchange, to the effect that the DSS&A had charged passengers over $3 for riding from Soo Junction to the river, a distance of 47 miles. This brought the matter to the attention of the gentlemanly passenger and ticket agent E, W. Allen, and he drops us a note which gives the report a square denial and are glad of it. He says: ‘The distance from the junction to S, S. Marie is, as you state, 47 miles. While the rate is but $1.90, the rate from St. Ignace to S. S. Marie being but $2.95." Basta Passenger
