W. J. Spicer of the Grand Trunk to
Become General Manager of
The DSS&A Railroad

James McMillan, president of the DSS&A, offered Mr.
Spicer the general management of that line. The offer
was taken under consideration and finally accepted on
Tuesday last, when Nr. McMillan and Mr. Spicer left for
New York to consult with the other officers and directors
of the line regarding improvements and extensions under
construction and contemplated. Mr. Spicer will retire
from the general management of the Chicago & Grand Tpunk
and Detroit, Grand Haven & Milwaukee, December 31, and the
day following enter upon the discharge of duties of his
new position.
