January 12, 1888 Thursday Common Council January 5, 1888 The mayor stated that the DSS&A had been notified to place a flagman on the Gold street crossing and failed to do so, and that he had placed a man on the crossing at $2 per day and that the company would have to pay the flagman's wages. On motion the statement of the mayor was unanimously accepted and his action in the premises approved.
