Badly injured, Michael Connell
Michael Connell, a freight conductor on the DSS&A was seriously, if not fatally injured near the Buffalo mine last evening. While making a run for a snow bank an egine took the side track and crashed into five or six flat cars upon which Connell was standing. He was thrown off and apparently struck on the back of the head by a piece of flying debris and knocked senseless. The wound was dressed when he was taken to his home in ishpeming. At nine o'clock this morning he was reported to be resting easy, with the chances in favor of his recovery.
