Duluth, South Shore & Atlantic Railway Legal Department Marquette, Mich. June 6, 1888 Ww. P. Healy, General Counsel P. B. Kirkwood, Esq., Negaunee Dear Sir: I cannot get your case into the present term, as it will expire in 10 or 12 days, and it takes quite a while to quit title to land. When I am next in Negaunee I will consult you about it. Mrs. Rasmussen swore very strong against Lintz and the doctor proved very severe injuries on the hand and a broken finger, and two month's illness. As to Gything's bad character we could not prove it, because bad character should not be excessively beat- ene I think that I cannot do any more in that case. The evid- ence is decidedly against us and there was a very fair jury. Yours truly, W. Ps Healy
