New Appointments

"Mike" Meehan, one of the oldest and best engineer on the
DSS&A as well as one of the most popular men on the road, has
just received well warranted promotion by his appointment by
the superintendent as road foreman of engines. It will be his
duty to see that enginemen and firemen attend to their duties
properly while on the road. To watch the performance of each
engine on the road and to assist the superintendent of mo-
tive power and machinery by suggestions, accurate reports of
the work performed by engines and their crews, etc.

Mr. D. CG. Mulvihill, late of the PRR at Renova, Pa, has
been appointed master car builder of the DSS&A, Ne’ts-a first
class man in every respect and is thoroughly conversant with
the duties and responsibilities of his position.
