The Northwestern Extension

Ishpeming - Train service has been given the people living along
the line of the C&NW extension from this city to Republic and
Michigamme. At present mixed trains are run, but it is probable
at no remote date regular passenger trains will run through to
both towns named.

At present a mixed train leaves this city at 8:45 am reaching
Republic at 10:30 and Michigamme at 10:45. Another mixed train
leaves here at 2:30 pm reaching Republic at 4:15 and Michigamme
at 4300.

Trains arrive here at 2:00 pm and 6:35 pm from the west.

All trains are now run by the C&NW and The DSS&A and it is
possible to reach almost any part of the county at the time de-
sired.
