At the meeting last Tuesday, the state board of
railroad crossings approved maps of two branches of the
South Shore, the Ironwood & Bessemer Ry., Ontonagon and
Gogebic counties and the Negaunee & Palmer Ry., Marquette
county. On the 8 the board will come to the upper
peninsula to settle several important railroad
disagreements.
