The following notice of appointment was general manager
Fitch's first circular of the New Year:

Mr. William H. Boeh is hereby appointed Superintendent of
Bridges and Buildings of this company, appointment to take
effect January 1, 1889.

Mr. William H Boeh is an engineer of wide experience, and
has been with the construction department ever since work was
commenced on the Duluth division and has had the confidence
of Mr, Latcha, the chief engineer and superintendent of construc
tion to an unusual degree. He is thoroughly liked all along
the line.
