At its meeting last Thursday, the state board of railroad
crossing approved maps of two branches of the South Shore,
the Ironwood & Bessemer railway, Ontonagon and Gogebic count-
ies, and the Negaunee & Palmer railway, Marquette county. On
the 8 the board will come to the upper peninsula to settle
several important railroad disagreements.
