The enterprising lumberman, George Randolph was at
Marquette last week to secure trains to transport his board
timber from Sage to St. Ignace. He says that the business
which in former years it has taken from one to three weeks
to get through with, was completed in less than half an hour.
He things superintendent Fitch a hustler and the right man in
the right place.

Gorege Randolph has sold his entire winter's cut of short
logs to Hall & Buell and they will be towed out of Waiska
Bay. The board timber will be shipped by vessel from St.
Ignace to Collin's Bay, from whence will be rafted down the
St. Lawrence River to Quebec.
