Among other pleasing results of the opening of the DSS&A as a through line is one not heretofore mentioned publicly; viz: the fact that the entire upper peninsula of michigan and northern wisconsin can be easily reached from Marquette, and the attractive features of Marquette as a residence city has induced quite a number of traveling men.
