To the Common Council of the City of Marquette

The Dead River RR. Co., in constructing its line of road from
the DSS&A to the mouth of the Dead River, will have occasion to
cross Washington street, also a highway lying a short distance
north of Washington street on the NEA of the NEM of section 15,
being the boundry of said company respectfully asks your honor-
able body to grant the right to construct such railroad crossing
upon such terms and conditions as shall be proper.

Annexted hereto is a diagram showing the line of road and
points of the crossing with a draft of ordinance as will answer
the purposes of the railroad company.
