Hibbard, general ‘western passenger agent of the South Shore, with headquarters at St. Paul, ‘yesterday resigned that position to be- come general freight and passenger agent of the Pacific Short Line. The road is under- stood to be backed by powerful New York capitalists and its reported intention is to build as far west as Og- den and possibly through to the Pacific. Mr. Hibbard ‘will assume his new po- sition May 1st and proceed to organize the road. His successor with theSouth Shore has not yet been announced. Mr.'George W.
