The Directors of the DSS&A railway here have voted to issue $20,000,000 of 4 per cent bonds, should the stockholders ap- prove the same at the annual meeting at Marquette, Mi., on July 17. These bonds are to be guaranteed by the Canadian Pac- ific Railway company and the proceeds used in taking up all the underlying securities and placing the company in ample funds for new equipment and improvements. When this is done the fix- ed charges of the road will ve about $800,000, which is within the present net earnings of the property. N. Y. Daily Indicator. Republic - The DSS&A is bringing in another cargo of coal for the Republic mine, and ore shipments via Marquette from that mine are quite brisk.
