October 11, 1890 South Shore Changes The official circular from Vice President Finney of the South Shore announcing the appointment as auditor of that road of Robert Toombs vice E. W. Allen, resigned, was received in this city Monday. This change has been a matter of current report for some time and arises from a desire on the part of the man- agement to separate the auditing and treasury departments. Mr. Allen will, however, remain in this city, having been appoint- ed assistant secretary and assistant treasurer of the South Shore at a salary equal to that of his former position. Mre Toombs is now auditor of the M&N and is not expected here until the latter end of the month. DSS&A M&N
