McMillan, Feb. 26 - On Sunday Feb. 22, our much esteemed
friend and stations agent, A. A. Clumpner, of the DSS&A was
notified by his superior officers that his services were re-
quired at a more responsible office than this one, viz.,
Eagle Millis. The news s@on became known about town that Al
was going to leave us soon, perhaps by Tuesday. Several of
our townshpeople concluded to give him a surprise party as a
token of friendship, at his boarding house on Monday evening.
