There seems to be a good deal of unnecessary newspaper talk
going on regarding the sale of a controlling interest in the MR
to the DSS&A or to the heavy stockholders of the latter company.
The Mining Journal published the fact of the transfer by the au-
thority of General Manager Fitch and with the statement of its
authenticity before it in his own handwriting. A few of the
doubtful Thomases up in the copper country are invited to sit
down.
