Palace Car for Lansing

Ishpeming - A special palace car has been chartered from the
DSS&A by a number of Marquette county gentlemen to take them to
lansing for the inaugural of the new state administration. Among
those who are going from Ishpeming are Messers. John Jones, Nels
Clifton, T. J. Eggan, Magnus Hult and William Peters. Hon. Peter
Pascoe of Republic will also be included in the list. A number go
from Negaunee and Marquette and the party will comfortably fill the
car. They will leave Ishpeming at 4:40 pm tomorrow. The newly
elected state officers will be inaugurated Monday or Tuesday. Mr.
Jones, as one of the Marquette county representatives expects to
be absent from Ishpeming two or three months at an interval, that,
of course depending on the time the legislature will be in session.
