A wreck occurred on the long bridge, south of Chassell, Fri-
day on the DSS&A. The tender of the locomotive and one car were
thrown from the track, and the bridge was damaged for some 30
feet in length. ‘The engineer and fireman jumped into the swamp
and escaped with a cold bath.
