Unidentified Couple-Standing (1941-1945)
Black and white negative of an unidentified couple on the dance floor of an unidentified Battle Creek restaurant. He is dressed in the United States Army Class A uniform and sports the Army Air Corps shoulder insignia and Sergeant Stripes. He is also wearing Army Air Crew Wings on his left breast. Battle Creek was home to a large United States military installation known as Camp or Fort Custer, hence uniformed service personnel were to be seen in all areas of the city and neighboring cities as well.
