Reath's Crossing school
Photograph of the Reath's Crossing School, built in 1879, serving families with children living on the State Road. The distance to Vulcan was too far to walk and children would have had to cross the river. Farmers involved in constructing this schoolhouse included James Rice, Eugene Liberty and Richard Reath.
