Photograph of Foster City's Morgan Lumber and Cedar Company's steam hauling locomotive, which began operating in December, 1908. It could haul from eight to ten loads of hardwood logs, each of which would have required four teams of horses to pull. Patrick Milligan stands at the extreme left, at the wheel is 'Chicken' Wilson; Homer Grondine is seated in the cab and R.W. Pierce, company superintendent, stands on the ground in front of the first load.
