Crew stoking the boilers at the Calumet Mine in Breen Township
Photograph of an unidentified crew stoking the boilers at the Calumet Mine in Breen Township. This photograph was probably taken after the Verona Mining Company reopened the Calumet Mine in late 1905 or early 1906. Note the miner at the right in the back, with a pipe in his mouth wearing an oilskin mining hat with his miner's candlestick attached.
