Ten-year-old Willie Kelly and his aunt on horseback
Photograph of ten-year-old Willie Kelly, only child of the Penn Iron Mining Company's general manager, was killed in an accident while boarding the cart pulled by his pony on August 20, 1898. Willie and his aunt probably posed for the photographer earlier that summer. Note that Willie's aunt is riding sidesaddle as most women did. Vulcan can be seen in the background.
