Italian House
Photograph of a fraternal hall, Italian House, probably located on Iron Mountain's North Side. In an era when employee benefits were virtually non-existent, fraternal and benevolent societies played a major role in social life and often provided death benefits to the families of members. Many nationalities had fraternal orders including the Germans, English/Cornish, French, Slavs, Swedes and Italians.
