Friends may call until 9 tonight at Arthur’ Bobcean Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. services at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Evans C. Bentley, pastor of the church, will offi- ciate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Town- MYRTLEA. ship. ABAR Born March 26, 1917, in Port Clinton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ruby and Frances (Schneider) Bossom. She married Robert Abar Sept. 18, 1943, at First United Methodist Church, Trenton. He died June 4, 1994. She was a homemaker anda member of First United | Methodist Church. | She also was a member of the | Women’s Society and Downriver | Seniors Chorale Group, a past | president of the Flat Rock Senior Citizens and:volunteer for Amer- ican Red Cross and Girl Scouts | of America. | Surviving are two sons, Charles.and Robert Jr., both of | Flat Rock; a daughter, Nancy | Andersen of St. Joseph; two sis- | ters, May Metler of Beulah and | Helen Boismier of Woodhaven, | and five grandchildren. i In addition to her husband, she | was preceded in death by a broth- , er, Charles R., and a sister, Mary | Jane Martin.
