Jean Allen, 51, of Lewisville; for-

merly of Monroe, died Thursday .

in her home. She had been in
poor health for three years.

Lewisville.
Born Feb. 1, 1947, in Lewisville,

she was the daughter of Red and

Clarrise Cox. In April, 1973, she
married Isiah Allen in Toledo,
Ohio.

She was employed at Ford
Motor Co., Monroe, from 1971-76,
before taking a medical retire-
ment.

Surviving are two sons, Vin-

cent and Arthur, both of Monroe; —

a daughter, Lisa Bruce of Mon-

roe; two brothers, Julius and ©

Roosevelt, both of Arkansas;a |

sister, Laura of Arkansas, and |

eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband anda ;

brother, James.
