1 1 es G, 14 ah dae end 19985 ElsieAnable ~ FLAT ROCK — Elsie Anable, 85, a resident of Flat Rock for 63 years, died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday in Wyandotte Health Center, Wyandotte, where she had been for three weeks. She had been ill for several months. Friends may call in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc., where services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Alan DeGrow of the First United Methodist Church and the Rev. Gary Allward of Riverview United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born Feb. 21, 1906, in Wyan- dotte, she was the daughter of Wil-- liam and Amelia (Block) Riedel. She was married June 28, 1927, to Murray Anable in St. John’s Evan- gelical and Reformed Church, Wyandotte. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1990. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Flat Rock: Flat Rock Chapter 156, Or- der of the Eastern Star; Silver Star Council 52, Daughters of Ameri- ca, Flat Rock; Over 50 Club of ‘Gibraltar and Flat Rock Birthday Club. She is survived by two daugh- ters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Morden of Riverview and Mrs. Leslic (Donna) Higgins of Flat Rock; five grandchildren, and cight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a broth- er, Walter Riedel. Memorials may be made to the church parking lot fund. :
