Anable, 87, of Flat Rock’ died Wednesday in Park Nursing Center, Taylor, where he had been for nine months. He had been in poor health for several years. Friends co call after 4 today in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc., where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Gar Imms of the First United Method- ist Church, of which he was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born June 6, 1902, in Flat Rock, he was the son of William and Anna (Dell) Anable. He was mar- ried June 28, 1927, to Elsie Riedel in Flat Rock. They had lived in the Flat Rock area for 63 years. Mr. Anable had been employed by Monsanto Chemical, Trenton, for 22 years, retiring as plant operator in 1967. He was a life member of Hiram Lodge 110, Free and Accepted Masons, and a member of the Over 50 Club, Gibraltar. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Morden of Riverview and Mrs. Lesley (Donna) Higgins of Flat Rock; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, John, and three sisters, Libby and Emma Anable and Edith Lawrence. Memorials may be made to the church.
