4 ‘ Be ig ste, Me 95,1993 Monroe Eve Paul A. Ator HANNIBAL, Mo. — Paul A. Ator, 66, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Flat Rock, died at 5:30 a.m. Friday in Vandalia, Mo. Services were held Monday at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Hannibal, with the Rev. Ted Manzke officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Born Dec. 25, 1926, in Pike County, Ill., he was the son of Frank and Lucretia (Shellhorse) Ator. He had formerly lived in Hannibal, Mo. A former Flat Rock resident, Mr. Ator had taught in Flat Rock Community Schools, retiring in ~ 1976. He was a graduate of Han- nibal-La Grange College and Grinnell College and received a master’s degree from the Univer- sity of Wisconsin. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
