NEWPORT — David Conrad
Auer, 55. of Newport died at
10:46 p.m. Saturday at Mercy
Memorial Hospital, Monroe. He
had been ill for four months.

Friends may call today at the
Ford Chapel of the Allore-Marten-
son Funeral Home, Rockwood,
from 5 p.m. until services at 8. Dr.
David Campbell, chaplain of
Mercy Memorial Hospital, will
officiate. Burial will be in Michi-
gan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.

Born Sept. 10, 1942, in Detroit,
he was the son of Ralph E. and
Ruth E. (Rennie) Auer.

_ Mr. Auer had been employed as
a security officer for O.S.S.I.
Security Co.

Surviving are his mother, Ruth
Granger of Newport: two daugh-
ters, Jennifer and Rebecca; a
brother, Randy of Monroe, and a
sister, Mrs. Bill (Donna) Hill of
Rockwood.
