SF. fle [CE] 4A4e DEATHS Carolyn Beck, past Flat Rock treasurer, dies FLAT ROCK — Former Flat Rock city treasurer Carolyn Beck, 58, died at 3:18 p.m. Friday in Flower Memorial Hospital, Toledo, where she had been a patient for a month. Mrs. Beck had worked at Flat Rock City Hall for 38 years, includ- ing 28 years as city treasurer until her retirement in September, 1993. She also had been treasurer of the Flat Rock Tax Increment Authority up until Oct. 1, when she resigned for health reasons. She remained a member of the board at the time of her death, however. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home Inc,. Flat Rock. Funeral services are pending for Tuesday. Mrs. Beck was the wife of Richard W. Beck. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
