Born Jan. 14, 1926, in Penning: ton Gap, Va., she was the daugh- ter of Monroe and Pearl (Young) Roberts. She married Hubert Cosby on Aug. 16, 1952, in | Jonesville, Va. He died Nov. 19, 1984. She was a member of the First Christian Baptist Church and the Frenchtown Senior Citizens Cen- 17: Surviving are a son, Eric A. (Tony) Cosby Sr. of Monroe; a daughter, Teresa Cosby of Mon- roe, and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Pauline Livesay, and a brother, Roy E. Roberts.
