will be in Huron Valley

Born June 20, 1927, in
Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son
of Clas L. and Freida
(Carleten) Blomgren Sr. He
married Janice Hansen Sept.
25, 1954, in Lakewood, N.J. She
died Oct. 11.

A railroad engineer, he
worked for DT & I Railroad
until retiring in July, 1992.

He served in the Army, 1950-
51, and was a member of the
American Legion.

Surviving are a son, Kris of
Carleton; a daughter, Joyce
Blomgren of Flat Rock; two
grandchildren, and a great-
grandchild.

In addition to his wife, he
was preceded in death by a sis-
ter, Sylvia.
