Thursday at Oakwood Skilled
Nursing Center, Trenton.

Services were held at 2 p.m.
today at Arthur Bobcean
Funeral Home’s Flat Rock
chapel. The Rev. Evans C.
Bentley, pastor of First United
Methodist.Church, will offici,
ate. Burial will be in Michigan
Memorial Park, Huron
Township.

Naoko Hasumi was born
May 30, 1925, in Tokyo. She
married Elbert Maynard Aug.
12, 1947, in Tokyo. He died Oct.
30, 1999.

A homemaker, she had lived

in the Flat Rock area for more
than 50 years.

Surviving are five sons,
Teddy T. (Gale) and Eugene
(Cindy), both of Trenton,
Elbert S. (Tandra) of Alabama,
Dennis L. (Dixie) of Flat Rock
and Gerald L. (Heather) of
Brownstown Township; two
brothers; two sisters; nine
grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren.
