Born Aug. 15, 1968, in
Trenton, he was the son of
Edwin and Marilyn (Wheeker)
Neifert Jr.

He graduated from General
Motors Institute in 1991. He
was employed as a mechanical
engineer for General Motors
Powertrain plant in Ypsilanti
for 17 years.

Surviving are his father of
Flat Rock; a brother, Scott of
Pipersville, Pa.; a sister, Tracey
Harris of Grand Blanc, and
grandparents, Edwin and
Alice Neifert of Florida.

He was preceded in death by
his mother and grandparents,
George and Mary Wheeker.
