ae ee Arthur W. Wenzel Jan. 24, 1914-April 9, 2003 FLAT ROCK - Services have — been set for Arthur W. Wenzel, 89, of Flat Rock, who died Wednesday at Oakwood Skilled Nursing Center, ° Trenton. Friends may call until 9 tonight at Arthur Bobcean Funeral 2 Home’s. Flat Rock chapel, where ser- vices will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Kenneth M. Spence, pastor of ARTHUR a, Trinity ; Lutheran WENZEL Church, Wyandotte, will _ officiate. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Huron Township. Born Jan. 24, 1914, in Trenton, he was the son of Rudolph and Louise (Giebel) Wenzel. He married Rhoda M. Anteau Jan. 15, 1938, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport. She died last April. A laborer, he worked for Firestone Steel Products, Wyandotte, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Roch’s Seniors, United Auto Workers and Trinity Lutheran . Church, Wyandotte. A Flat Rock resident for 64 years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are three sons, Rodney and August (Mary), both of Flat Rock, and Arthur Jr. “Sonny” (Barbara) of South Rockwood; a daughter, Joan (Wawrin) Raymond of Henderson, Ky, a brother, Carl (Lillian) of Huron Township; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Edward and George; four sisters, Helen Grubba, Martha Bagans, Tressa Trainer and Clara Dreager, anda granddaughter. Memorials may be miade to St. Roch Catholic Church or Trinity Lutheran Church.
