bred, Dew 4, 1944 Kenneth Crooks FLAT’. ROCK Kenge, Crooks, 82, of Flat Rock died at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday in his home. He had been ill for three years. Friends may call from 1:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Marilyn C. DeGraw of Waterman- Preston United Methodist Church, Detroit, will officiate. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock. Born Oct. 30, 1912, in Flat Rock, where he had lived most of his life, he was the son of John Hi. and Catherine M. (Ivor) Crooks. He was married Dec. 17, 1948, to Grace A. Curl in Wagner, S.D. Mr. Crooks had been employed by Downriver Auto Parts in Tren- ton, retiring in 1977. From 1943-1970, he had been employed as a mechanic for Crooks Super Service in Flat Rock. Hee An Army veteran of World War _ II, he served from May 30, 1942, to Sept. 20; 1943. He had received the Golden | Eagle for 50 years membership in | the Eagles Club of Walla Walla, Wash. _ _ Surviving are his wife; a step- daughter, « Mrs. Richard (Stephanie) Henkel of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, John of Pinck- | ney; a sister, Mrs. Karl (Mary) | Smith of Flat Rock, and five grandchildren. | He was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and Donald.
