Stella M. Crooks

NEWPORT — Stella Marie
Crooks, 89, of Newport died Tues-
day in Mercy Memorial Hospital,
where she had been for the past
two months. :

There will be no visitation or
services. The Ford Chapel of the
Allore-Martenson Funeral Home,
Rockwood, is in charge of
arrangements.

Born Aug. 26, 1906, in Canada; :
she was the daughter of Gilbert -
and Annie (Kett) Morency. She
was married in 1943 to Donald
M. Crooks. He died on Dec. 26,
1985.

She was a homemaker. ;
Surviving are a son, Frederick
C. Smith of Rockwood; two broth- _
ers, Martin of Taylor and Charles
of Florida; two grandchildren, and

one great-grandchild.
